Oyster Perpetual is a direct model of the first Oyster announced in 1926, which established Rolex's fame as the world's first waterproof wristwatch.
A model that can be said to be the origin of Rolex, equipped with two of Rolex's three major inventions, the "Oyster case" with waterproof performance and excellent durability, and the self-winding "Perpetual mechanism" equipped with a rotor that rotates in both directions. Is "Oyster Perpetual".
This Ref.6564 is a watch with a design that represents Art Deco called a sector dial.
The small 34mm case is just the right size for narrow arms, so it can be used by both men and women.
The dial has changed to ivory. A major feature is the sector dial, which is a geometric design using circles and straight lines.
The index is basically a wide bar index, and it is a cannonball type only at 3 o'clock / 6 o'clock / 9 o'clock.
The hand is a rare large Dauphin hand, and the second hand has a cute design with a round shape only at the end.
The installed movement is Cal.1030. This is Rolex's first machine that uses a bidirectional winding rotor, and because of its butterfly-like appearance, it features a rotor called a butterfly rotor.
The bracelet comes with a genuine rivet bracelet. It is engraved with 63 years, which is a little later than the age of the clock.
The bracelet is very light and matches the age of the watch, and the buckle part is a so-called "debeso buckle" with the crown popping out.

About Complete Service
Complete service, sometime called overhaul is the work of disassembling a mechanical product down to its individual parts, cleaning and reassembling it to bring it closer to its new state of performance.
Roughly speaking, the overhaul procedure is as follows.
1. Separate into case and movement
2. Disassemble the movement
3. Inspection and pre-cleaning of wear condition of each part
4. Wash parts with a special machine
5. Lubrication and assembly
6. Waterproof test
7. Final adjustment and running test.
Some movements are made up of hundreds of parts, but it is a very meticulous process of disassembling them one by one, inspecting them all, cleaning them, and reassembling them.
If you don't overhaul, the oil will deteriorate just like a car, and the risk of wear and damage to parts increases, causing a decrease in accuracy and, in severe cases, not working.
There is also the reason that it will be very expensive to replace parts after they are found to be damaged, so we recommend overhauling once every 2-3 years for economical and long-term use.
