-Description

Omega's history began in 1848 when watchmaker Louis Blanc established a workshop in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. The company name Omega originates from the name given to a high-quality movement introduced in 1894.

The first Seamaster was born in 1948 and, along with the Speedmaster, is one of the brand's most iconic collections. Initially, it was mainly a waterproof model for everyday use, but it has also established itself as a professional diver, including a model adopted by the Royal Navy.

This Ref.14364-1 is a model released in the early 1960s at the same time as the second Speedmaster.

Like the Speedmaster, this chronograph is equipped with the famous Cal.321 and has a fairly similar design with alpha hands and stepped in-dial.

It has details similar to those of the Speedmaster, but in a smaller, water-resistant case of 35mm.

There are several variations on the dial, but this watch has a combination of wedge-shaped indexes with 3-6-9 and 12 with Arabic numerals.

The matte white dial has changed over the course of 60 years to an orange-tinged ivory, making it a unique watch.

The luminous paint applied to the hands and dial is radium. The luminous paint on the hands has completely peeled off, but we have not intentionally repainted it.

As mentioned above, the movement is hand-wound Cal.321. It is one of the legendary movement in the history of chronographs, as well as the history of Omega. The importance of this watch can be seen from the fact that Omega has completely reissued it in recent years, with a combination of robustness and accuracy that passed NASA tests.

Based on the 27 CHRO 12 movement created by Lemania designer Albert Piguet in 1942, Omega's caliber 321 has a copper-plated movement to make it more resistant to corrosion.

Comes with Omega beads of rice bracelet 1037. Although this is a bracelet for the Constellation, I think it matches the dressy look of this chronograph.
